After-School Clubs: Winter 2024
The PTO is excited to offer 5-weeks of staff-led after-school clubs. These clubs were popular with our students last fall! Clubs are based on the grade level of the student.
DATES: Thursdays - Feb 29th, March 7th, March 14th, March 21st & March 28th
AGES: See club description for grades
TIME: 2:25-3:25, students will move from their classroom to the club room. Bussing home not provided. Carline pickup begins at 3:30 pm sharp!
PRICE*: $100 ($20 per session, includes all supplies and materials)
Credit card payment at online checkout.
Payment by cash, personal check, Venmo or Paypal must be received within two days of registration.
*Scholarships are available - please contact our social worker, Natalie Rimmer, for more information.
TO REGISTER for an after-school club - Open Feb 11th at 6am - Feb 18th at 7pm:
- Make sure you have created a free online account. To create an account, click Register/Login, Create Account, then enter your name, email and create a password.
- When registration is active, go to the forms section and look for the section titled 2024 Winter After School Clubs. THIS FORM WILL ONLY BE VISIBLE WHEN REGISTRATION IS LIVE: Sunday, February 11th at 6:00am through Friday, February 18th at 7:00pm
- Add club to cart and check out.
**You will receive a system-generated email confirmation once you complete your registration. If you do not receive an email, your child has not been enrolled in the club. Please email the PTO if you have any questions.

5 Senses - Mrs. Windell, Grades PK-K
Explore a different sense each week
Arts & Crafts - Mrs. Dolan, Grades 1-4
Multiple art projects made with mixed media for children to take home.
Basketball - Mrs. Eller & Mrs Craig, Grades 1-5
Learn basketball skills, play games, and become a better basketball player.
Beading - Mrs. Cobb & Mrs. Harris, Grades 1-5
Making Keychains, backpack clips, and Magnets using Perly Melty Beads.
Board Games – Mrs. Cook, Grades K-5
Enjoy the challenge of playing a variety of games with others.
Book Club- Mrs. Williams, Grades PK-1
Each week, we will read a book, do a fun activity, and make (and eat!) a special snack that goes along with the book we read. If you have a food allergy, please inform Mrs. Williams so snacks can be safe for everyone.
Card Games - Mrs. Broom, Grades 3-5
Come and learn a new card game each week, make new friends, and learn how to strategize.
Chess- Coach Busick, Grades 2-5
Have you ever thought Checkers was too easy or do you want to learn how Harry Potter got to the Sorcerer’s Stone by playing Chess? If so, then Chess Club is the place for you! We are excited to have you join us at Chess Club! You do not have to be interested in playing chess competitively to participate, club play is casual. My goal for members is to: have fun, learn chess, and frame losses as an opportunity to learn. Chess club is for all skill levels, from the beginner to a seasoned player.
Cooking – Mrs. Baker, Grades 1-5 - FULL / WAITLIST ONLY
Do you want to make tasty snacks? Then the cooking club is the one for you! In this club, we will learn about sanitation in the kitchen, how to follow a recipe, and the basics of measuring.

Friendship Bracelet – Mrs. Farris, Grades 2-5
Learn how to make friendship bracelets using thread.
Karaoke - Mrs. Burgess, Grades 1-5
Do you like to sing? Do you like music? Well, this is the club for you! We will have a karaoke machine, and you can choose to sing alone or with a group of friends!.
Lego- Mrs. Bevilacqua or Mrs. Munn, Grades 1-5
Use sets of Lego Briqs to create robots that can be programmed in various ways.
Movin' & Groovin' - Grades PK-2
We will exercise our minds and bodies as we dance, do kid yoga, aerobics, fitness, etc, and have a blast!
OES Explores: An adventure through Nationals Parks- Mrs.MacNab & Mrs. Abbott, Grades 1-5
We will virtually roam through National Parks. On our adventures, we will visit places, make crafts, and earn badges! Lets Explore!
Pokemon- Mrs. K. Laster, Grades 2-5 - FULL / WAITLIST ONLY
Come learn how to play The Pokemon Trading Card Game! You do not need to have your own cards! We will also be making our own cardboard Pokemon deck box, Pokemon headband and Pokemon TCG playmat!
Scrapbooking- Mrs. Borders, Grades 1-5
Scrapbooking Club is about crafting and documenting memories. Students are asked to bring photos from home.
Sign Language – Mrs.B. Laster, Grades 1-5
Students will learn a variety of signs to communicate using American Sign Language
Spanish for Beginners – Mrs. Fossas & Mrs. Green, Grades 2-4
Our goal is to introduce young learners to the language, culture, -and traditions of Spanish-speaking countries. Children will participate in language lessons, music/dance sessions, and arts/crafts. Fostering a fun and immersive way to learn Spanish.
STEM- Mrs. Harrington, Grades 1-5
If you enjoy building, creating, science, and math, then the STEM Club is for you! Come have fun with us!
