The Boosterthon Fun Run is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year!

 

  

What is the Boosterthon  Fun Run?

The Boosterthon Fun Run is a fundraising company that works with many schools. 

 

Boosterthon sends in a team that will be at the school for a week. They will pump the kids up starting from the moment they exit the car or bus, all through the day until they dismiss from school. They will talk to the students about the fundraiser on September 20th and get them excited about the program. Students will ask friends and family to support their school while earning different prizes throughout the week. There is even a prize just for registering on the site! 

 

Registration is the first step of the program. When registration opens on August 27th, head to the site and register your child and earn the first prize. The other prizes are dependent on the amount pledges they receive. 

 

During the week the Boosterthon team will meet with the students and discuss the importance of fitness, leadership and character. At the end of the week, Friday, September 4th, the students will ALL participate in the Fun Run. Different grades will run at different times (see schedule below). During the run the Boosterthon team will be playing music, dancing and encouraging the students. They will stop the music and have the students do different actions as they move along the course. This is a fun celebration of the work they have done to support OES!

 

The 5th graders will enjoy their last fun run at OES with an added color run. During the run there will be times when volunteers throw powdered color into the air for the students to run through. Definitely something for the younger classes to look forward to.

 

Our Schedule is:

  • 8:00 am: 1st and 2nd & Pre-k/Special Ed 

  • 9:15 am: 3rd and 4th & Kindergarten

  • 1:15 pm: 5th - Color Run
